My name is Dwayne and I got involved with the Internet back in 1996. Being a complete computer nerd in my teens, I was quickly drawn to the Internet and was an early adopter. I had just finished school and was searching for my career when I decided to create a web consulting business with a close friend. BAM Solutions / Strategy was born and over the years has built up to be a leading Canadian online advertising agency.

Fast forward to 2002, I decided to leave the “Corporate” world and get back to the grass roots of doing business online. I started up a handful of portals working the affiliate marketing game in various industries. In those days, search engine marketing was a skill that produced results in a short period of time. The sites do very well and I gained an enormous amount of knowledge as to what works online.

Now I am exploring the new opportunities that exist in the industry. The other sites are alive and well but I want to get into newer ways of doing business online. Blogs have been around for a while; it is basically the beginning of the new era of Web 2.0. Community / social websites are what it’s all about; my goal is to experience the different aspects of them through my own websites. Where will this process take me? I’m not too sure but I am more of a person who jumps right in knowing the experience alone is all I need. The rest will unfold… stay tuned!
